Oh now then what do we have here? – a very glamorous 1940s diamante adornment.
It could easily be used either for adding some sparkle to an evening bag or as a jacket clasp.
Or why not add it to a special occasion hat or tie it into the hair?
It would also work well as an adornment on a sweater or dress – think this is how it was originally used.
The adornment is generally in very good vintage condition.
A few of the stones have lost a bit of their sparkle but all are intact and overall the sparkle level is good!
It is formed into five overlapping rings – could it have been made for the Olympics in the past?
There are two hoops at either end to enable you to sew it onto a garment or handbag.
Most likely 1940s due to its style and construction.
This 1940s diamante adornment is a nice size – 10cm by 3cm.
Please note the silver handbag in the photos is for display purposes only and is not included in the sale.
