Now this is something special – a 1950s dancers musical clock!
This super little clock which looks like a television has two dancers who do a lovely waltz to the Blue Danube.
The photos don’t really do it justice!
The lady is wearing a gorgeous shimmering full length gold dress and the man is wearing a full tails evening suit.
They appear in the little television screen with has mirrors behind them so you can see their every move!
The clock face is also very sweet with musical notes in place of some of the numbers.
It works as both a clock and alarm clock or just use it as a pretty little musical item.
It’s in a cream hard plastic case and the back is brass. The time changer and alarm share the same winder – you just pull it out and put it into either.
There is also a clock winder and music winder which are fully functional.
There is no makers name – it’s just marked Foreign which may be Hong Kong or Japan.
This 1950s dancers musical clock measures 12 cms high, 8cms wide and the side measures 7cms.
It is generally in good working order – the casing is showing some wear but its in good vintage condition.
Below is a link to let you download a very short burst of the music and dancers. Enjoy!
