Perfect for that weekend away – a great 1950s small Cheney suitcase which has been up-cycled for that distinctive rockabilly look!
It would look great perched on the back of a Vespa or Lambretta for that weekend getaway to the Great British seaside.
Or just use it for stylish display and storage.
Although made of strong cardboard (as many were in those days!) it’s very robust and in good condition. Has some wear commensurate with its age but that just adds to its style!
Cheney were a renowned British company manufacturing a range of luggage.
It has been up-cycled in red tartan on the outside and a nice Parisian design on the inside. And don’t forget we have a tartan coat rack to match in our Dressing room too!
Unfortunately it doesn’t have the keys but the catches work really well and the suitcase isn’t warped or damaged in anyway. The corners are reinforced, It has a very sturdy metal handle (marked Cheney).
It measures 38cms (15ins) wide, 26cms (10ins) deep and 11cms (4.5ins) high.
Please note – price reflects higher cost of postage.
