A rare find is this 1960s wedding cake topper.
It’s just so fabulous and in great condition.
Looks likely to be 1960s or earlier from late 1950s.
The detail is great with the groom is wearing a dinner suit with bow tie and the blushing bride is wearing a lovely silk full length gown, is carrying a bouquet and she has a lovely little veil.
They are both under an amazing arch with is covered with white silk flowers and there is a gorgeous little silver bell above their heads.
They are standing on a plastic filigree stand which goes on top of the cake.
It’s in great condition for a 1960s wedding cake topper with mo marks at all on the figures or the white flower arch. This is very minor discolouration to the plastic base but hardly noticeable at all.
Even if you don’t know anyone planning a wedding wouldn’t it make a great prop for a bakery or wedding dress shop?
It is 26cms high by 17cms wide.
