A great set of 1970s stoneware spice jars – would look good in a modern country or retro kitchen. Think early Delia Smith or Mary Berry!!
This set of seven stoneware spice jars are great if you want to have practical items in your kitchen but which look fab on show rather than hidden in a cupboard!
The glazed stoneware jars have tops with a small knob on the top of each lid.
There are three jars for all the lovely sweet spices – nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger.
And there are four jars for savoury herbs – sage, rosemary marjoram and mixed herbs.
The names on this set of 1970s stoneware spice jars are in an attractive stencil style with each still clear and intact.
There are in great condition – no chips or cracks – and only minor glaze marks on some of the lids which you’d expect when used in a kitchen.
Each is marked on the base with the words Made in England in an oval lozenge.
They measure 7cms high by 6.5cms wide.
